Betty Jean Burns

Betty J. Burns, age 78, of Jamestown, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 8, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Lane. Betty is survived by her husband of 55 years, Harold Burns; children, Gordon (Judy) Lane, Becky (Kristina) Lane, William (Karen) Burns, Dennis (Nancy) Burns, Danny (Bronson) Burns; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dan and Jim Wade; and many other relatives and friends.

Betty was a wonderful, kind, funny person. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Betty loved her church, Arrowbrook Baptist Church (1124 Upper Bellbrook Rd, Xenia, OH 45385), where visitation will be held Friday, February 11, 2011 from 10-11am. The service will follow at 11am, with Pastor Daniel Williams officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Cemetery.
