Betty Jane Scammahorn

SCAMMAHORN, Betty Jane, age 85 of Dayton, OH passed away peacefully on October 8, 2013. She was born in Hamilton, OH to the late Lillian and Daniel Heil. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Ken Toler; and brother, Marsans Heil.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Roger Scammahorn; children, Gary (Angelika) Scammahorn, Deborah (Joe) Fairchild, Ronald Scammahorn, Vickie (Jeff) Grooms, Denise Toler; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Betty was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
The family would like to say a special thank you to all the nurses, doctors, and staff at Stone Spring of Vandalia, especially Lori and Nurse Julie, and Hospice of Dayton, for all their love, compassion, and support.
