Gross, Betty J., 80, of Fairborn, passed away Fri., Dec. 28, 2012. Retired from WPAFB. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Jessie Scheckelhoff, and by her infant daughter, Penny. She is survived by daughter, Jo Ann (Dic) Kavalauskas; son, Jeff (Cathy) Gross; grandchildren, Jessica (Ron) Howard, Amanda, and Brennan Gross; sister, Dolores Wilson; niece and nephew, Jamie Markel and Mark Wilson. Mass of Christian Burial will be said Sat. Jan. 5, 2013 at St. Anthony Church, 830 Bowen St, Dayton, with Fr. Chris Coleman, Celebrant. Friends may call at church for 1 hour prior to mass (9-10am). Burial at Calvary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel.
