GILMORE, Betty J.
Age 80, of Dayton, Oh passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014. Mrs. Gilmore was born August 6, 1934 in Grayson, KY to the late Eddie and Elizabeth Hall.
She was an office manager for Miami Valley Worldwide for 43 years. Mrs. Gilmore was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years, James W. Gilmore; son, Owen Gilmore; sister, Deloris Sparks; and brother, Robert Hall. She is survived by her sons, David (Lynda) Gilmore, Robert (Patricia) Gilmore, and Ivan Gilmore; daughter-in-law, Lois Gilmore; grandchildren, David Gilmore, Jr., Amy Goodman, Robert Gilmore, Jr., Marie Bales, Yvonne Stewart, Mandy Gilmore, Shonda Gilmore, Brittany Marshall, Stephany Gilmore, Destiny Gilmore, and Tiffany Mendiola, whom she raised and thought of as a daughter; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Carl Hall; 3 sisters, Ida Mae Spivak, Jean Simeral, and Kathy King.
Mrs.Gilmore was a very kind, loving, caring, and giving person. Loved by so many and will be greatly missed by all. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 15, 2014 from 12:30 pm until the time of the service at 1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., officiating Pastor, Jimmy Perkins. Interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
