Betty Getz

GETZ, Betty Estep, age 84, of Riverside, departed this world for a far better place Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at the Widows Home of Dayton. Betty was born January 20, 1924 in Thacker, WV to Martelia and Emery Estep. She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers; and a great-grandson. She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Clair Getz; daughters, Annie Large (Gerald) of Somerset, KY; Evita Johnson of Dayton, OH; son, Phillip Johnson of Richmond, KY; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends for prayer service and farewell will take place at the Woodland Mausoleum chapel on October 17, 2008 at 2PM prior to interment. Her family wishes to thank all of the great people at the Widows Home and Crossroads Hospice.
