Betty Jo Ford, age 79 of Vandalia, OH passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. She was born October 25, 1937 in Overton County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Virgil and Birtha Randolph.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Mike Ford; brother, Raymond Randolph; sisters, Helen Randolph, Lois Foister.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Tammie (Lester) Hicks of Vandalia, OH, Tanya (Lee) Baltimore of Vandalia, OH; sister, Eliese Vaden of Monteray, TN; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; special cousin, Phyllis Wise; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Betty retired from General Motors after 33 years of service. She was a member of First Dayton Baptist Church and she loved reading the word of God. She loved to travel and play cards, but most importantly, she lived for her family.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
