Betty Joyce Fields

Betty Joyce Fields, age 84 of Gratis, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 at her home. She was born October 31, 1936 in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Herman Morgan and Alpha (Grady) O'Neal.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Grant Fields; son, Steve Fields; grandchildren, Amy and Julia Fields; great-grandson, Caden.

Betty is survived by her two sons, David (Jamie) Fields and Carlos (Marciann Carpenter) Fields; grandchildren, Katie (Jeremy) Burke, Andy (Kayla) Fields, Amber (Kyle Seidel) Fields and Alexander Fields; 15 great-grandchildren, Kobe, Zavier, Jordan, Tate, Averie, Nora, Wyatt, Leo Burke, Aubree, Madix, Dusty and Skyleigh Fields, Mya and Matthew Guy, Addison Fields; sisters, Peggy O'Neal and Carol (Thurl) Golden; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She retired from Church's Flowers in Miamisburg, Ohio. Betty enjoyed gardening, reading and watching classic movies. Mostly she loved being with family and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, where her funeral will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Miamisburg.

The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face mask will be worn in all public places.
