Betty Lee Dennis

Betty Lee Dennis (Brunton), 85, formerly of Miamisburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2017, at Patriot Ridge Community in Fairborn, Ohio. She was born in Glouster, Ohio on August 17, 1931.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Dennis; parents, James and Cora Rankin Brunton; brothers, James Brunton, Lovell Brunton, Emerson Brunton, Farley Brunton, Rankin Brunton, and Wallace Brunton; one sister, Gloria Jean Bickley; and two grandchildren, Angela Matter Smith and Valerie Pickett.
Survivors include three daughters, Peggy Matter, Lorrie Huber (Chuck), and Tina Adams (Ed); grandchildren, Kyle Pickett, Kristen Kleman, and Karen Garrison (Scott); and brother, Trevison Brunton (Dorothy).
During her working career, she held various office positions at companies in the Columbus and Dayton areas, including International Harvester, Ashland Oil, and Battelle.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at First Church of God, 446 N. Heincke Rd., Miamisburg, OH 45342. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Roy Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow the funeral at the Dayton Veterans Administration Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
