Mrs Betty Jewell(Hall)Daws passed away at Monday November 9, 2009 at 1:03 pm at her home in xenia with her daughter at her side. She was born to Charlie and Ethel(Cassada )Hall on June 30,1927in Science Hill, Kentucy. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. Leonard Daws, her mother and father, and 2 brothers (Raymond Hall and Edward Hall) and one sister Christine Leonard.



Betty is survived by 5 loving daughters, Becky Robbins and husband Rev. Howard, Kathy Steck and husband, Heber, Connie McPherson and husband Joe, Linda Kern, Debra Tankersley and husband Dan; 11 grandchildren Michelle Turner , Rev Anthony Robbins and wife Melody, Crystal Johnson and husband Charlie, Jennifer Gonzales, Joe McPherson Jr., Rhonda Cox and husband Timothy, Heather Gabbard and husband Sean, Rev. Heath Countryman and wife Luann. Michael Kern , Troy Kern, Tom Starbuck Jr.. Jessica Bower and husband Ryan, Stephanie Gierek and husband Josh, and 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren. She also leaves to morn her passing,4 sisters Zada Stone, Clarine Swyane, Wilma Back, Louise Browing and 1 brother Charles Hall and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and wonderful friends.



Rev. & Mrs. Daws pastored several churches from 1953 until 1987 in the church of The Nazarene. He retired from pastoring in 1987 and entered the field of evangelism and served as long as health permitted. Betty took a very active part in their ministry she has now joined him in their heavenly home for eternity. The love of their lives was god, family, ministry and friends.



In leui of flowers, it was the request of Mrs Daws that contribution be made to a memorial fund for Sun Valley Indian School. Checks may be made directly to Sun Valley Indian School and mailed to Debra Tankersley 2200 Cybelle Court Miamisburg Ohio 45342 and she will forward them. Making the check directly to the school as a donation can be tax deductable.



Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Friday November 13, 2009 at First Church of the Nazarene in Xenia, 1204 W 2nd St, Xenia OH 45385. viewing will be held 11:00-1:00 prior to services at the church.
