Betty L. Chlebek

Betty L. Chlebek, was born November 18, 1932 , passed away November 7, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Opal and Douglas Tackett of Olive Hill, KY.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard "Dick" Chlebek, brothers, Laverne (Dorothy) Tackett, Charles (Lou Rae) Tackett, Larry McKenzie, sister, Magene (Quentin) Salyers, brothers-in-law, Robert (Margie) Chlebek, Richard "Dick" Davis, son-in-law, Bret Manring. Betty is survived by her sister, Brenda Davis; sister-in-law, Nancy McKenzie; son, Terry(Jackie Hudson) Chlebek; daughter, Teresa Manring; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She retired from the Dayton Public Schools Food Service Dept. in 2000, where she met some of her best friends and continued those friendships for her lifetime.

Thank you to the staff at The Sanctuary at 10 Wilmington Place for providing care, comfort and celebrations for Betty in the last three years as well as Hospice of Dayton for their end of life care.

Betty was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all of those who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:30 pm at Newcomer South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd.

Betty will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Dick at Dayton National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Betty's memory.
