Betty Burress

BURRESS, Betty Louise, 72, of Fairborn passed away Saturday October 25, 2008 and went to be with the Lord and her husband. She is preceded in death by her parents Luther and Alta Radford; husband William Robert Burress Sr; daughter Frances Pearl Burress; and sister Annie Lee Pennington. Betty is survived by her children Betty Jean (Johnny) Purdue, JoAnn (Gadford Robinson) Burress, and William Robert Burress, Jr.; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers Carl Mays, Shields T, and George Radford; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. She was a member of Believers Hope church of God where she was involved and loved to sing. Funeral services will be held 10:30AM Thursday October 30, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Family will receive friends from 9:30AM until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Byron Cemetery.
