Betty Jean Brown, age 90, of Kettering, passed away December 10, 2021. She was born April 13, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late William and Rose Lee (Harvey) Burton.
Betty was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. She enjoyed and excelled at a long and varied career with the Procurement Department of the Federal government, serving at WPAFB in Fairborn, Ohio, Lindsey Air Station in Wiesbaden, Germany and GSA in Washington, DC.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sisters, Bobby, Jewel, Lois and Verlene. She is survived by her children Kenneth J. (Shirley) Brown, Jr., Betteena J. (Timothy) Crawshaw, Beverly L. (Rhonda) Breiser; her grandchildren Elisha Walters, Jeremiah Crawshaw, Natasha Mendez, and her great-grandchildren Alora Walters and Illiana Mendez.
Betty enjoyed decorating, and owned and operated the former "Miss B's" Boutique. She also enjoyed listening to Jazz, traveling and taking cruises.
