Betty Ann Brown, 58, of Northridge, passed away peacefully January 27, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton.
She was born September 13, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Raymond and Mary Waymire. She was a 1974 graduate of Northridge High School.
Betty dedicated a lifetime to the Northridge High School Marching Band starting in her childhood as the Mascot, through her High School years as a Clarinet player, Alumni Member and most recently a Band Mom.
She volunteered with area churches helping with the homeless and was a member of the Salvation Army.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Waymire.
Betty is survived by her sister, Mary Waymire; Children, Raymond Waymire, John W. (fiancée, Tracy) Smith Jr, Betty (Brian) Bittorf , William, Morgan "Nettie" Ross, Whitney Lowery, Crystal Brown; 4 grandchildren, Ashlie and Marie Smith, Bronson and Barrett Bittorf and many good friends.
A gathering will be held from 5-7 PM Friday, February 7, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, where a memorial service will begin at 7 PM Friday.
