JOHNSON, Bettey, age 84, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert Johnson, Sr.
Bettey is survived by her children, Belinda (Dale) Cherry and Robert Johnson, Jr.; grandchildren, Angela Huff, Stephanie (Glenn) Blevins, Brittany Huff, and Steven Huff; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Justin Baker II and Julious Avila, and siblings, Martha Engler and William Bayham. Bettey was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville. Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a memorial fund for Bettey Johnson through Montgomery County Credit Union Inc.
