Bette Jane Atkins

Bette Jane "Bec Bec" Atkins, 82, of Dayton, passed away on June 13, 2021. She was born in Athens, Ohio, on January 27, 1939, the daughter of the late Phillip DeVol and Dorothy Harper.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Atkins; and her son Raymond Atkins.
Bette is survived by her loving children, Jon DeVol and Lori Atkins; her grandchildren, Destinae McLemore and Nicholas McLemore; great grandchildren, Alaina Wheaton, Kairo Clark, Aaliyah Patterson, Key'Ceon Youngblood and Nico McLemore; her beloved dog, Max; and many loving family and friends.
She was employed as a Registered Nurse for over 35 years at Miami Valley Hospital and was also an Administrator at the VA Hospital. Bette was a "Mom" to many and "Bec Bec" to others, she will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her. We Love You!!!!
Services will be held privately by the family.
