PIERCE, Bessie
age 78 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. Bessie was born February 2, 1927, the daughter of Cary and Bertha Highfield. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bill Pierce; children, Jerry (Brenda) Pierce, Bonnie (John) Walterbusch, and Gene (Valerie) Pierce; sister, Beulah Schwallie; grandchildren, Ryan (Katie) Pierce, Jeff Pierce, Tracey Walterbusch, Alex Pierce, and Ben Pierce. Bessie was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Jimmy and Ralph Highfield. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
