Bessie M. Tracy, age 83, of Kettering, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013.
Bessie was born October 23, 1930 in Boise, Idaho to the late Irl & Laura Townsend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Tracy; son, Stan Tracy; and grandson, Zach Tracy.
Bessie is survived by her sons, David (Shirley) Tracy, Kevin Tracy and Warren (Teresa) Tracy; grandchildren, Matthew, Teresa and Jason Tracy and Holly Sink; great-granddaughter, Alexis Tracy; sisters, Polly Rafferty and Mona Yount; and many other relatives and friends.
Bessie was a member of the Kettering American Legion Post 598 Ladies Auxiliary.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
