Bessie Cusick

CUSICK, Bessie, age 94, of Riverside, passed away Monday, August 10, 2009. She was born July 19, 1915 in LaFollette, TN, the daughter of the late Luther and Mellie (Burke) Leach. She was a member of Agape Family Worship Center. She is survived by her daughters, Louise Asbury and Carol Hartman; son, Larry D. (Brenda) Cusick; 24 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Morgan; lifelong friend, Billie Phillips. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh L. Cusick; sister-in-law, Louise Buckley; daughter, Eva Horne; sons, Robert J. Cusick and Clyde E. Cusick; five brothers and one sister. Visitation will be held Friday, August 14, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel where funeral services will be held Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark McVey officiating. Burial will follow in Byron Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
