Bessie Collins

COLLINS, Bessie, born January 12, 1931 in Breathitt County, Kentucky to Jake and Lona (Wages) Large, passed away at her residence in Beavercreek, OH, on May 1, 2009. She was the loving wife of Lewis "Jack" Collins for 61 years. Mother of Nancy Busch, Linda Pierce, and Jackie (Collins) Penrod; one son-in-law, Robert Pierce; Grandmother of Tami, Tanettee, Robert II, Robert Jr., Dawn and James. Great-grandmother of Danielle, Cassondra, Chase, Greysin, and Jaxx. She had 4 brothers, 2 sisters, numerous nieces and nephews with many loving friends and relatives. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel where funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor David Ringiser officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Brookville, OH.
