SLATON, Beryl J.
Age 80, passed away October 3, 2014. Beryl was born on November 11, 1933 in Highland Park, MI. She is preceded in death by her son, Douglas in 2003 and daughter, Lisa in 2014.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gene; son, Curtis (Brigid) of Butler Twp.; 6 grandchildren, Joe (Sabrina) of Englewood, Dan and Ian of Huber Heights, Ben and Sally of Butler Twp., and Greg Allen of Middletown, 2 great-grandsons, Grady and Tyler of Middletown; and daughter-in-law, Vickie Slaton.
Beryl retired from Montgomery Co. Schools after 20 years. She was a member of United Christian Church of Englewood and volunteered for FISH Food Pantry North West. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star Dayton-Victory Chapter for 62 years.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 13, 2014 from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 5:00 pm at U.C. Church, 8611 Hoke Rd. Clayton, OH 45315.Rev. Coleen Beasecker officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church.
