Beryl Eudora Cooper

Cooper, "Ruth" Beryl Eudora, (Swayze) 92 years old of Dayton, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 26, 2017. She was born on May 6, 1925 in Ashley PA, and grew up in Wilkes Barre PA, before making her permanent home in Dayton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Leslie Richmond Cooper Jr., her son, Joel Cooper, her parents Amelia Winifred (Nagle) Swayze & Theodore Robert Swayze. Her sisters Jean Snively, June Belton & Carole Wray, her brothers William Swayze & David Swayze. Ruth had an amazing zest & will for life. She was the loving rock & anchor of her family. She was a lifelong Christian. She belonged to several organizations including Golf, Bridge & Bowling. She was an avid reader & gardener. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, canning & spending time with her family. She was dearly loved and will be missed by many. She is survived by her adoring family including children; "Amy" Amelia Meeks (Doug), "Ted" Theodore Cooper (Mickie), David Cooper (Richard), Eudora Cooper-Berry (Tom); grandchildren; Karah Meeks Ulrich (Dawson), Blake Meeks (Laci), Theodore Cooper, Jr. (Lindsay), Lauren Berry Bucci (Vanni), Lindsey Kinnel (Shon), Brett Meeks (Natalie), Whitney Rhinehart(Tyler), Sydney Schiff, & Joel Schiff; great grandchildren; Harrisen, Anderson, Leighton Ulrich, Tristan, Anna, Jolie Meeks, Austin Cooper, Elin Kinnel, Luca, Pietro Bucci, & Kennedy Meeks; sister; Joan Pavelka; many other family members and dear friends. Visitation will be Monday, October 30, 2017 between 11:00am to 1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH, where services will follow. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
