Bertram Keen

KEEN, Bertram C. age 75, of Riverside, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2008 . He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers and was a retired lettercarrier in the Beavercreek area after 36 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Keen and Nancy Durning; sister, Betty Moscartolo; brothers, Ernest Jr. and Donald Keen; son, Kenneth Keen; and an infant daughter. He is survived by Phyllis, his loving wife of 54 years; children, Kathy (Jim) Ramsey, Dale Keen; Carol (Jim) Bodish; grandchildren, James (Andrea), Amber (Joe), Brandon, Kelsie, and Cody; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Kaylie, James, Ashlyn, Jacob, Leanna; siblings, Gilda McCauley, Patricia (Jim) Stonerock, Robert (Beverly) Keen, James (Loretta) Keen, Paul Keen, Janice (Tony) Elacqua, Maureen Dunlea; brother-in-law, Don (Joyce) Ballweg; brother-in-law, Kurt Stewart; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Visitation will be 2-5PM Sunday, September 28, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Funeral services will be 10AM Monday, September 29, 2008 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
