Bertha C. Ranberger, age 75 of Dayton, OH, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Laurelwood Senior Living. She was born February 17, 1943 in Jefferson City, Tennessee to Buford and Emma Brown and married Alfred Ranberger in Dayton, OH.
Bert worked at Value City in Dayton and retired after 12 years. She loved to garden, enjoyed going to flea markets, loved video games and her animals. Bert loved to watch baseball and enjoyed the Cincinnati Reds and the Dayton Dragons. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Bert is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Michael) Gordon; a son, Doug Brown; four grandchildren, James, Justin (Katie), Christopher and Jojo; three great grandchildren, Damien "Dami", Jayse and Carly; two brothers, David and Randy (Vicki) Brown; two sister in laws, Ruth Brown and Debbie Brown; and other numerous family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers, Cliff "Arlen", Clayton "Buford", Winfred and Anthony Brown; and a granddaughter Jessica Brown.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432 . Visitation will be held two hours prior at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia.
