Bertha "Mildred" Owens

Bertha "Mildred" Owens, age 88 of Dayton, reunited with her husband, David Earl Owens on December 14, 2016. She was born June 5, 1928 in Flossie, KY to the late Earl and Dora (Tucker) Keith. In addition to her husband and parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her siblings, Ola Dearth, Myrtle Rosell, Raymond Keith, Willa Dean Keith and Elsie Seiber.

She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Brenda) Owens and Jimmy (Becky) Owens; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; sister, Mattie Denny; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Mildred was a member of North Central Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and spending time with family.

Family will receive friends from 2-4 PM on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 4 PM.

Burial will take place at Nevelsville Cemetery, Nevelsville, KY at a later date.
