She was at her happiest when she was surrounded by family. She always said she wished her kids were little again and lived at home. As everyone grew up, she fell in love with each grandchild and great grandchild that came along. She adored every moment with them and was known as Nana, not only to them but their friends and even the neighbor kids.
Outside of home, her passion was nursing, to which she dedicated over 30 years. She loved every minute of her time as a caregiver, and truly considered her coworkers and patients as her extended family. She was well known for her hard work, pranks, jokes, compassion and selflessness.
In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, watching Blue Bloods, Bible study, music and dancing with her friends. She made an impression on everyone she encountered. If you met her, you laughed, if you knew her, you loved, and if you were fortunate enough to get a pet name from her, you were number one.
