Bertha Lee Neely

Bertha Lee Neely 83 of Dayton, passed away Thursday September 3, 2009 at her home. She was born June 1, 1926 in Davison Alabama, the daughter of the late Charlie and Lucille Caldwell. After moving to Ohio she settled in Newark, Ohio and was a member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish and play bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Neely Jr. and a son George Edward McKisic, Sister Verdell Street and Brother Lorenzo Caldwell. She leaves to mourn a loving daughter, Shirley Ann McKisic of Heath, OH. Sisters, Elouise Harrison, Evelyn Tulloch of Dayton OH, and Bernice (Bobbie) Welch of Lineville, Alabama. Brothers Charles (Ova Lee) Caldwell of Lineville Alabama and Winfred Caldwell of Dayton, OH. Grandchildren Shirley Dean Smith, Randy Reveille Smith of Heath OH, Omran (Melinda) Khaliq of Newark: 6 Great Grandchildren, Ramon Smith, Rahilison, Kahlima, Mahlaysia Khaliq of Newark, OH; Dominic Jagodzinski of Columbus, OH and Alexis R. Norris of Heath, OH. And a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 8, 2009 from 12:30-1:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 1:30pm. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
