Bertha J. Brown

BROWN, Bertha J., age 93, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Marie Helfenstine; husband, Clarence Brown; 4 sisters; 2 brothers, and sons, Karl and James Brown.

Bertha is survived by her children, Clarence Brown, Jr., Patricia Hensley, Carol Fahrney, Robert Brown, and Renee Kapp; 22 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren, and 31 great great grandchildren. Bertha was a lifelong member of Faith Baptist Church and was a volunteer with the city of Kettering. She owned her own ceramics business for many years and received numerous awards within the ceramics community. Bertha was loved and will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 25, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery, Fairborn. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service.
