Bert C. Black

Black, Bert C., 85, of Beavercreek, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013. As a construction superintendent for Danis Companies, he helped shape the skyline of Dayton. Bert was also an Army Veteran serving in Korea and attended the Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Allie J. and Ethel M.(Donehue) Black; and 2 brothers, Allie Jr.and Larry.
Bert is survived by his wife of 65 years, Anne (Horton) Black; 2 sons, Jerry (Roseanne) Black, Gregory (Debbie) Black; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ray, Phil; 5 sisters, Ava, Cora, Jean, Anna, and Mary Lou.
Visitation 9 to 10:30 am Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. where a funeral service will be held at 10:30. Burial in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
