Bernice H. Pratt

Pratt, Bernice H., age 80, of Centerville, went home on Monday, January 12, 2009. Bernice was born April 20, 1928. She was a member of Christ Life Sanctuary in Kettering. Bernice was a very giving person who will be missed by all who knew her.

Bernice is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Marsha Noonan, Kim (Greg) Peterson, Traci (Carl) Tucker; four grandchildren: Quinn, Rosemary, Lindsey, Ashley, and Chad; great grandchildren: Mindy, Hunter,Chris and Alex; sister: Joyce Grusenmeyer; and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Marshall Pratt; parents: Birch & Mary Lou (Robison) Hunter; and sister: Lois Marquardt.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, with Dr. Reverend Fred Wilson and Pastor Katrina Wilson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation in memory of Bernice, envelopes will be provided.
