Bernette Bell, age 98, of Miamisburg, went home to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday, July 19, 2011.
She was born September 24, 1912 in Oneida, TN., to the late Ernest & Georgie Chitwood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Bell; her son Earl Bell; sister, Virginia Autry; and brother, Clay Chitwood. Bernette is survived by her children, Conley Bell, Anita Marler, Wanda Washington, Donald Bell, Larry Bell, Georgia Brown, Brenda Eberle, Danny Bell, and Tim Bell; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ernestina Stamper; brother, Richard Chitwood; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 22, 2011 from 2-3pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 3pm.
There will also be a visitation held Monday, July 25, 2011 from 12-1pm at West-Murley Funeral Home (18641 Alberta St, Oneida, TN.). Burial will follow at Chitwood Cemetery in Winfield, TN.
Donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton in Bernette's memory.
