Bernard Thomas Vechazone age 75 of Dayton, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on May 14, 2014 He was the son of the late Helen and John Vechazone. Bernie is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Pam (Watson) Vechazone of Dayton , Ohio, brother John Vechazone of Naples, Florida, son Marc (Robyn) Vechazone of West Milton, Ohio, daughter Nicole Vechazone of Dayton, Ohio, and Grandson Grady Vechazone of West Milton, Ohio.
Bernie graduated St. Charles Preparatory Academy in 1957 and then served in the United States Navy until his retirement in 1978. He then served 20 years at Wright Patterson Air Force Base at Air Force Material Command with the Security Police until his retirement in 1993.
Bernie was a devoted family man who loved his wife and family and was affectionately known as Nonno to his grandson. He was an avid golfer and loved collecting all things related to golf.
Bernie's wishes were to be cremated. His family will celebrate his life at a later date.
