STRICK, Bernadette Elizabeth (nee Meiering ), 81, passed away February 1, 2011. She will be missed by her surviving family: Children: Susan Strick (Eamon Malone), Paul (Carol) Strick, Steve (Kelly) Strick, Rose Mediratta (Heath Morton), and Patty (Kevin) Buddelmeyer, eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Paul J. Strick, parents Rosa and William Meiering, brothers Harry, Elmer and Paul Meiering, and sisters Ludwina Hoying, Romilda Valek and Helen Meiering.
Viewing will be Monday, February 7 from 6-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH. Mass will be held Tuesday, February 8 at 10:30 am at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 1440 N. Fairfield Rd. Interment will immediately follow at Beaver Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to St. Mary's Hospice of Tucson, Arizona, (carondelet.org).
