Berhane Hunegnaw, 75, left us on October 25th with his wife by his side in Dayton, Ohio.
Berhane was born on March 15, 1939 in Harrar, Ethiopia to Atto and Tsege Hunegnaw.
Berhane and Simegnish met at an early age and married shortly thereafter. Their first child Samson was born the folowing year. They then relocated to New York City and not long after the move had their second son, David. Berhane and the family moved to Dayton, Ohio where they became active members of the Ethiopian community. Berhane devoted a significant amount of his time and experience as a long-time entrepreneur to better the community.
Berhane is survived by his wife, Simegnish, brothers Amaha and Abiy, and sons, Samson and David.
