Benton Townsend

TOWNSEND, Benton, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 13, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benton and Eula Mae Townsend. Benton is survived by his children, Michelle Matthews and Benton A. (Susan) Townsend; siblings, Cecil Townsend, Donald Townsend, Virginia Wornom, and Everett Townsend; grandson, Zachary Matthews, and step-grandchildren, Adam Fuert and Danielle Felton. Benton served in the United States Air Force and retired after 32 years of service from General Motors. Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 pm on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, with memorial services following at 6:00 pm.
