Benton "Eddie"Edward Lewis

Benton "Eddie" Lewis, age 71 of Fairborn, Ohio passed away October 24, 2021. He was born December 3, 1949 in Algood, TN son of the late Clifford and Lonia Lewis.

Eddie was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Eddie was a member of the Fairborn Enterprise Church for 17 years. His passions included being knee deep in Bluegrass Music. He was a very talented musician, especially at playing the Banjo and singing. Eddie enjoyed making those around him laugh and bring a smile to their face. Eddie was a very talented Carpenter in which he was in the business for over 55 years. When Eddie was not working on building houses, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He never knew a stranger and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Vicki Lewis; daughter, Heather Lewis; siblings, Mark, Harold, Ralph, Lucille, Hazel, and Dean.

Eddie is survived by his children, Angel Lewis and Clifford (Jessica) Lewis; grandchildren, Paige, Ryan, Aleia, Brianna, Tyler, Taylor, Alisa, Austin, Wyatt, Abigail, Kevin, Miranda, and Chelsey; great grandchildren, Marshall, Layona, Kaiden, Jordan and Bella; siblings, Notie (Bobby) Moser, Betty Jean (Ronald) Bilbrey, and Addie (Conrad) Kennedy; sister-in-laws, Carla, Cindy, and Kim (Brian); brother-in-law, Randy (Cheryl) and Andrew; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 5-8pm at Fairborn Enterprise Church (1614 Steward Blvd, Fairborn, Ohio 45324).

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 11am at the Church. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery.
