Benjamin Martin

Benjamin Martin passed away at home with his parents Jeff and Songyon in Dayton March 16, 2008 in his sleep of undetermined causes. Born 26 years ago at Cape Canaveral, Florida, Ben traveled the world with his Air Force family and lived in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Idaho, Illinois, Washington, and Korea where he had a wonderful year with cousins Taeil and Tay at his Aunt Kwon's home. Ben especially liked his years in Pennsylvania because of the time he was able to spend with his grandparents, Charles and Jean, and his Aunt Susan. Ben earned a baseball scholarship at South West Illinois College and later attended the University of Missouri at St. Louis. He was an avid Cardinals fan and was very happy to attend the World Series there. He recently moved to Ohio and worked in Brookville for Green-Toki. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Charles Martin. The date for a memorial service is to be determined. Ben is survived by his parents, and other Ohio relatives Grandmother Jean Martin of Marion, Aunt Susan and Uncle Tim Studer of La Rue. California relatives include Grandmother Ok Rae Cho, Aunt Choonja and Uncle Jae Hung Kwon, and Aunt Mi-yon and Uncle Daeson Kang. His immediate cousins are Taeil, Tay, Zachary, Audra, Jacob, Joanne, Joyce, Jaemin, and Minji. He was taken before his time. Everyone loved Ben and he will surely be missed!
