Benjamin Leonard Huffman, born on June 2, 1993, in Kettering, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on January 23, 2025, in Riverside, Ohio. He was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, who touched the lives of all who knew him with his silly, fun, and goofy personality. His memorable chest-shaking deep laugh will be dearly missed by family and friends alike.
Benjamin was a proud father to his son, Benjamin Leonard Huffman II, affectionately referred to as "Lil' Man." His love for the outdoors shone brightly through his hobbies, with fishing and swimming being particular passions, especially when shared with his son.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Theresa Neargarder; sisters Heidi (David) Van Daele and Karla (Steve) Huffman; sister-in-law Krista York; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Mason, Reagan, Alana, Blaine, Kylie, and Jaylyn. His nurturing grandmother, Margaret Huffman, along with his uncle Kenny and aunt Karen (Andy), also remain to honor his memory, as do many other extended relatives and friends who appreciated his joyful spirit and enthusiasm for life.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his father, Barry Carl Huffman; brother, Barry Carl Huffman II; and beloved grandparents, Barbara, Jerry, and O'Neal. He also mourns the loss of a special cousin, Debbie Kay.
Though he has left this world too soon, Benjamin's legacy will live on through the lives he enriched with his laughter and love, particularly in the heart of his son.
