BAYLES, BELVA, age 80 of Xenia passed away peacefully on September 22, 2017. She was born in Leslie County, KY to the late Alfred and Nancy Miniard on July 16, 1937. Belva attended Harlan County High School. She married Cleo Ray Bayles in 1962. Belva was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking in her free time. She was a loving and compassionate mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her, especially by her sister, Pauline Edgington and brother, Henry Miniard.
In addition to her parents, Belva was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Bayles; son, Gregory Bayles; siblings, Opal Miniard, Rose Elliston, Denver Miniard, William Miniard, Cumile Campbell, and Grace Huff.
Belva leaves to cherish her memory, children; Sandra (Bruce) Wright, Ronnie (Jill) Caldwell, and Melissa (Allen) Melton; siblings, Pauline (John) Edgington and Henry Miniard; grandchildren, Jenna, Sarah, Kate, Brian, Derek, Timothy, Ashley, and Jamie; great-grandchildren, Bianca, Savannah, Aurora, Austin, Kristian Paul, Bobbi Jo, and Madison; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017 at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn at 11:30am. Rev. Lonnie Bocook to officiate.
