BENTLEY, Beecher J.
age 82 of Dayton, passed away Monday, November 13, 2006 at his home. Beecher was born August 31, 1924 in Woodstock, KY the son of the late William and Bertha Bentley. He was a decorated soldier who served our country in the United States Army, 89th Infantry Division during World War II. Beecher is survived by his wife of 53 years, Iness Bentley; sons, Dan (Marilyn) Bentley and Donald Bentley; grandchildren, Sharessa (Robert) Bentley-Crovo, Justin Bentley, Scott (Angela) Marcum; great grandchildren, Jordan Scales and Kennedy Crovo; brother, James B. (Pat) Bentley; sister, Wilda (Wade) Cappleman; and a host of loved nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be remembered for his big smile and stories . . . "Au Revoir, Beecher." Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Friday in Miami Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
