Becky J. Howard, age 47 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022. She was born January 6, 1974 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Gerald and Mary Unroe.
Becky worked for the Transportation Security Administration for 18 years. She enjoyed hiking, camping, and traveling, especially to Colorado. She was an avid fan of Harry Potter and reread the books numerous times. Becky was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Blackford and numerous aunts and uncles.
Becky is survived by her husband of 28 years, Andrew; son, Cody (Sara) Unroe; two daughters, Monique (Tanner) Zwelling, Shelby Howard; grandchild, Jackson Unroe; brother, Gary (Jackie) Blackford; aunts, Pam Rice & Pat Szotak-Lawson and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the National Park Foundation in Becky's honor.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
