Becky Lynn Coterel

Becky Lynn Coterel, 60, passed away on November 17, 2023. Loving mother of Tyler Coterel, cherished daughter of Ron and Jo Essick and adored sister of Brad (Patty) Essick. She is also survived by her nephew Clark (Miranda) Bauman.
Becky grew up in Plymouth, MI until her family moved to Granville, Ohio in 1976. She proudly attended The Ohio State University and is a die hard fan of OSU football. She spent her career working as a special education teacher at Spring Hill in Xenia and a guardian ad litem for Montgomery County CASA. She enjoyed baking, fostering animals, her horse Rosie was her favorite, but most especially spending time with her friends and family.
Family will be holding a celebration of life for Becky at Centenary United Methodist Church (102 E. Broadway Granville, OH) on Tuesday November 28, 2023 at 11:00 am. Please consider a donation to The Ohio State University's Education Fund (https://ehe.osu.edu/give) in Becky's memory.
