Beaulah Virginia Luttrell, age 96 of Versailles, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Kettering Health Network - Troy Hospital. She was born June 2, 1923 in Wallins Creek, Kentucky to the late Floyd and Rosa Niday.
In addition to her parents, Beaulah was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Luttrell; daughter, Pat Tatar and siblings, Hubert (Ann) Niday, Elmer (Ruby) Niday, Joe (Mary Nell) Niday, Sally (Morrison) Chadwell, Johnny (Minnie) Niday, Charles (Mary) Niday, Georgie (Tom) Loope and Kate (Clayton) Lowery.
Beaulah is survived by daughters, Sandra Luttrell of Greenville, OH, Evelyn (Tom) Lortz of Marshall, MI and Jane (Ron) Kramer of Versailles, OH; grandchildren; John Tatar, Matt (Emily) Tatar, Sarah Luttrell, Lesley (Mark) Wiegand Virginia (James) Back, Jason(Gretchen) Lortz, Rachel Glines, Austin (Danae) Lortz and Abby (Frankie) Adams; great grandchildren, Joshua, Parker, Isabel, Madison, Elsa, Hank, Fred and Leo as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Beaulah attended Elydale School in Virginia and moved to Bristol, VA to assist with the WWII effort where she met her future husband. After she married, Beaulah and her family relocated to Dayton, OH for employment and made it her home where she raised 4 daughters. She began her career with Kettering Hospital as a labor and delivery department housekeeper, retiring after 19 years of service. Beaulah was dedicated to her Christian faith and in her leisure often found time to garden, crochet and sew.
Family will receive guests from 11:00-1:00pm, Friday, September 13, 2019 at Newcomer Funeral Home, KETTERING. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm and be officiated by Pastor, Rick Gutheil. Procession to Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton for burial will conclude services for Beaulah.
