Beatrice Jernigan (Bea) was born on March 11, 1951, in Greensboro Georgia, she departed this life on July 28, 2023, at the age of 72.
She was preceded in death by her parents Sarah Mae Armstrong and Nathaniel Jernigan, son Beronz A. Jernigan, daughter Sarah Jernigan, sisters Daisy Parks, Willa Mae Brown, Anita Lynn Armstrong, Bonita Yvonne Armstrong, brother Charles Brown, nieces Dorcas Stewart, Diencia Brown, nephew Dion Snow, Roderick Brown, great nephew Jamell Brown.
She leaves to cherish a devoted son Beotis Jernigan, 3 sisters Connie (Tim) Andrews, Susan Jacqueline Armstrong, Barbara Ellen Armstrong, 3 brothers Willie James Jernigann (Deborah), Senior Gerald (Vondetta) Armstrong III, and Michael (Teresa) Brown, nephew Ronald Brown, great-nephews Ramell Brown and Ryan Brown, and great-niece Sierra Brown, 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, Best Friend Elaine Rutledge and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

The service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 4104 Needmore Road Dayton, OH 45424 on August 10, 2023, Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 10:30 am with services beginning at 10:30 am. Beatrice will be laid to rest in Woodland Cemetery.
The Repass will be held at Alora Event House 5482 Brandt Pike Huber Heights, OH 45424
