Beatrice "Bea" Funkhouser, age 92, passed away on Friday, June 28th, 2013.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Funkhouser, brother, Wendel Morris, sister, Beauleh Kerr, and parents, Anson & Opal Morris. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Wright, son, Gary (Tammie) Funkhouser, grandchildren, Scott Wright, Kevin Funkhouser, Shawn Funkhouser, great-grandchildren, Kyle Wright, Clay Wright, Kayla Wright, Justin Funkhouser & Zachary Funkhouser, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Eastern Star Victory Chapter and the Dayton Corvair Club. She graduated from Buford High School in Buford, Ohio, where she ran track and played softball and basketball.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 3rd, from 1:00PM to 2:00PM, with a service immediately following at 2:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel, Kettering, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Hospice of Dayton.
