Beatrice "Bea" Coffee, age 71, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 24, 2015.
Bea worked at the Salvation Army for 30 years as a bookkeeper. She was member of the Sunbeams and taught several ceramic classes.
Bea was preceded in death by her parents, Gailey & Gladys Coffee; brothers, Lloyd and Glenn Coffee; sister, Maggie Ann Coffee; and special niece, Christy Coffee.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Sherry Coffee; nephew, Kevin (Sarah) Coffee; great-nephew, Zachary Coffee; great-nieces, Madison and Allie Coffee; and special friends, Jackie Sproles and Carol Brand.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 28, 2015 from 10-11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 11am, with Pastor Tom Glaser officiating. Burial will take place at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
