Barry Jay Leggett

Barry Jay Leggett, age 64 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He was born December 16, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas the son of Donald and Carol Leggett.
Barry worked as an audio engineer and producer for the Dayton Music Scene, which he and his wife founded in 2016. He retired as an optician from the Entire Vision Care. He loved anything to do with music, especially playing his guitar. He will be remembered for his humor and his funny sayings like, "What's happening" and "Life's a garden, dig it". Barry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Barry is survived by his wife, Kathy; children, Corey (Robyn) Leggett, Terry Griffith, Krista Cain & Sean Leggett; grandchildren, Cole, Brody, Mason, Trevor, Carter, Adam, Skylar, Riley, Ryker & Gage; siblings, Stacey (Dan) Ott & Todd (Heather) Leggett and many other loving family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm at Yellow Cab in Dayton, Ohio.
