Barrie D. Mcclellan
June 4, 1944 — February 6, 2015
Barrie D. McClellan, age 70 of Riverside, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 at 6:45 PM at Dayton V.A. Medical Center-Hospice. He was born June 4, 1944 in Dayton to the late Henry (Jeet) L. Grimes and Marie (Carsy) Fedor.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Susan M. McClellan; children, Barrie (Annetta) McClellan Jr., Scott (Debra) McClellan and Becky (Jonathan) Westfall; grandchildren, Tinna, Dina, Ryan, Marli and Jeffrey; 5 great-grandchildren.
Barrie was a veteran of the U.S. Navy from 1961-1965 on the USS Saratoga (CVA-60). He worked and retired from Honeywell Corp. Barrie enjoyed fishing, trying his luck with the lotto tickets "scratching" and spending time with family and friends.
Barrie will be interred at Dayton National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Dayton V.A. Medical Center- Hospice Unit, in Barrie's memory.
