Barney E. Collins

Collins, Barney Elmer, age 52, of Kettering, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. Barney was born February 3, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio.

Barney was prececed in death by his father: William Collins; sisters: Rebecca Jean Collins, Bonnie Jean Riley & Nancy Lou Wilbanks. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter: Heather Nicole & her husband Stanley Preudhomme of Pensacola, FL; mother: Virginia Lou Neal of Dayton; brother: William Collins Jr. of Lake Wales, FL; and a great host of family and friends.

Barney had over 24 years of dedicated service at Vista Kawasaki on Wilmington Ave. in Dayton which was a highlight in his life. But the greatest light of his life was his granddaughter: Elise Jacqueline Preudhomme.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel_ 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Tim Walden officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until time of services.
