Barbara A. Wood, age 70, of Dayton, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021.
Barb was born in Dayton, OH on May 27, 1951 to Arthur & Louise Fernald.
In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her daughter, Vanessa Nicole Wood and grandson, Austin Michael Wood. She is survived by her sons, John (Amie) Diffendal, Steve (Justin) Diffendal and David (Joni) Wood; grandchildren, Austin Diffendal, John Eric Diffendal, Kelsey Diffendal, Courtney Diffendal, William Carlson, Cyle Carlson, Anna Marie Carlson, Lauren Diffendal, Chance Wood, Desiree Venters and Autumn Blackson; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Cheryl Wade, Nanette Fernald and Mark Fernald; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 4-6 pm at the Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. The service will follow at 6pm.
