Barbara Lee Wintrow

Barbara Lee Wintrow, age 82 of Kettering, went home to be with her parents on Saturday, December 25, 2021. She was born February 3, 1939 in Arlington, Ohio, the daughter of Cleo and Bertha Elifritz.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Ann Ward.
Barbara is survived by her three children, Tonia Ward; Randy Ward, and Vince Wintrow; five grandchildren, Cristen (Ben), Lance (Molly), Diona (Adam), Austin, and Allen; four great-grandchildren, Jack, Finn, Addis, and Josie; two siblings, Cleo "Sonny" and Betty. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The most important aspect in her life was family. Barbara cherished the time spent with her entire family. She also enjoyed gardening, reading, and her fur babies, Keira, Bruiser, and Satchmo. Barbara is well loved and will be missed by all those who knew her.
The family hopes those who would like to honor her will find a quiet time to remember who she was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. In lieu of a public memorial service, individual families are encouraged to have their own private memorial. She will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or a local animal shelter of choice.
